Twin Cities PBS’s FAST-FORWARD: LOOK INTO YOUR FUTURE seeks to find out. This hour-long documentary, which premieres Wednesday, March 24 at 10:00 pm ET (check your local listings), takes four families through an immersive journey to bring them 30 years into the future.
In FAST FORWARD, the participants, all millennials or baby boomers, are put through an accelerated aging process. Wearing MIT’s Aging Suits and professional aging makeup, they get a first-hand look into what old age is really like. The process simulates the physical, psychological, and social realities of aging to “encourage families to begin conversations about what it takes to age well together.”
