Darrah Hall is the special assistant to the vice president of Legal Progress at American Progress. Darrah joined American Progress after interning with the Senate Finance Committee, where she covered child welfare and health policy. A proud alumna of the foster care system, Darrah has spent the past five years working with aging out foster youth and advocating for child welfare reform on both the state and federal level. She is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, and earned her bachelor’s degree in anthropology and African and African-American Studies from the University of Memphis.
