Alissa Quart
Alissa Quart is the executive editor of the nonprofit Economic Hardship Reporting Project. She was previously the author of four books, including the poetry book Monetized and three nonfiction books, including Branded. Her next one, about inequality and the American family, is forthcoming. She has written for The New York Times, The Atlantic and many other publications, and has produced a number of documentaries. She has taught reporting at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and other universities and was a 2010 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University. Follow her on Twitter: @lisquart.
