This morning in Washington, The Brennan Center for Justice hosts a symposium about the role of money in the 2014 midterm election and the effect of the Supreme Court’s Citizens United v. FEC court decision.
Representatives from Demos, Center for Media and Democracy, Public Citizen and other good government groups and think tanks will talk about the growth of outside spending in Senate races, the role of money in 2014 state judicial campaigns, how our big-money system marginalizes candidates and communities of color and much more.
