Climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe speaks with Bill this week about the intersection between politics, science and faith in the fight against global warming.
Hayhoe, who is an evangelical Christian, appeared earlier this year on the Emmy Award-winning Showtime documentary series, Years of Living Dangerously, which explores the human impact of climate change. Hayhoe served as a science adviser on the show.
As you can see, she appears in the first episode, which can be watched in its entirety here, and receives a visit at home from the actor Don Cheadle, one of many celebrities to appear in the show. New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman and actor Harrison Ford are also featured in this episode (The full series is now available on DVD).
