The 2010 U.S. Census revealed that Hispanics were the fastest growing segments of the population in the last decade, exceeding projections in most states and achieving a new milestone: one in six Americans are now Hispanic. In 30 years, according to projections, people of color will outnumber white people for the first time in American history.
