Shannon Hayes

Shannon Hayes, aka "The Radical Homemaker," is a writer whose essays appear on her own blog and YES! magazine, and whose work has appeared in myriad regional and national publications, including The New York Times, National Public Radio, US News and World Report, Small Farm Quarterly, The Atlantic and Elle magazine. Her books include The Grassfed Gourmet, The Farmer and the Grill, Radical Homemakers and Homespun Mom Comes Unraveled. She holds a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Binghamton University and a master's and Ph.D. in sustainable agriculture and community development from Cornell University.
